Barolo Chinato Cocchi is made from DOCG Barolo wine flavoured with quinine bark, rhubarb and gentian flowers. These ingredients are macerated with aromatic spices including cardamom and mace. Both aperitif and digistif, it is best served at room temperature, but also works well served chilled over ice or in a King Negroni cocktail. Thanks to its richness and complexity, it perfectly pairs with dark chocolate.

About Cocchi:

Founded by Giulio Cocchi in the Asti region of Piedmont, Italy, Cocchi has continuously produced wine since 1891. First working as a pastry chef in Florence, Giulio Cocchi moved to Asti and began making aromatised wine in the Piedmontese style. His wines proved to be very popular, prompting the opening of Cocchi tasting bars in Turin and as far away as Caracas, Venezuela. Today Cocchi remains a paragon of aromatised wine production.
