With a base of quinine from cinchona bark, aromatic botanicals, and added sweetness from real cane sugar, Jack Rudy have crafted the perfect tonic syrup. Just add soda to make a delicate and light tonic water that introduces a fine bitterness to any cocktail—to perfect complement to a premium gin. The ratio of syrup to soda can be adjusted to taste; try 1 part tonic syrup to 5–10 parts water according to preference.
Pairing Suggestion: Tanqueray, Melbourne Gin Company, Citadelle, or Plymouth.
About Jack Rudy:
Named after the founders' great-grandfather: “Jack Rudy was many things. He was a pilot who illegally flew his plane under the Ohio River Bridge (on a dare), an inventor who created a mechanical device for pharmacists to count pills, and a craftsman who once built a houseboat out of an old city bus. After serving as an aircraft mechanic in WWII, he spent his working life as an engineer. He read Popular Mechanics and National Geographic cover to cover—a curious type who made his own bullets, and then shot them into a dirt wall he constructed in his basement. In addition to being a ‘marvelous’ dancer, he loved to entertain and was known to overindulge in drink, smoke, and his wife’s gourmet cooking."

forget tonic water
By: Art Vanderlay on 27 November 2017Completely different to the normal gin and tonic water. I've tried a bunch of different tonic syrups and none come even close to Mr Rudy's. The elderflower one is great too. I first tried the ratio that's on the bottle but then changed it to suit. Lime, gin, Jack Rudy and soda water - in my mind it's healthier than tonic water too... Perfect for summer.

Can't make a G&T without it!
By: David on 22 May 2015This tonic syrup is so delicious that I can't make a gin and tonic without it anymore! It's light and citrusy, without too much bitterness or medicinal flavours that I find in other tonics. Highly recommended, and so convenient when paired with a Soda Stream. :-)

Mild flavour
By: Sarah on 13 April 2015I found the flavour to be very mild. I will need to experiment with the concentration of syrup. The flavour is nice, very gentle but I would have thought I could taste more quinine given the ingredients. There is nothing wrong with the product, however I think its not quite to my taste. I will look at other options for my next order.

Revolutionised my at-home G+T

Instead of searching the aisles for decent tonic water, I now pick up soda water and construct myself a well-balanced G+T simply by following the instructions. No more sugar-headaches after a big night of Mother's Ruin. Not so big it cancels out the botanicals of your quality gin (and you should only drink quality gin).
