Cynar 70

Cynar 70 is essentially a double strength version of the original, dialling up not only the alcohol, but the flavour intensity and bitterness too.

Pronounced "chee-NAR", the name comes from the botanical name for artichoke, Cynar Scolymus, although the majority of the flavour comes from the 12 other botanicals used in its production. Of particular note are cinchona, orange, and allspice which are more prominent in Cynar 70 than the original. The more assertive character comes through in cocktails, standing up to heavier spirits and lending more bitter than sweet in comparison.
