Also known as drinking vinegars, Shrubs are a unique and delicious way to enjoy fruit flavours in your favourite drinks. Made from a combination of fresh fruit, sugar, and vinegar. Shrubs are incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of ways - from making cocktails to marinades, and even as a topping for ice cream. With just a few ingredients, you can make a delicious and unique beverage that will make any occasion special.
 
 
Shrub & Soda

30ml Shrub of choice
120ml Soda

Combine in a Collins glass. Fill with Ice and stir.

30ml Som Pineapple & Szechuan Pepper Shrub
15ml Okar Island Bitter
30m Tiki Lovers Dark Rum

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Fill with ice and shake. Strain into an ice filled Double Old Fashioned Glass. Garnish with dehydrated pineapple slices.

Missy and Kristin Koefod founded 18.21 Bitters in 2014. After Missys bout with cancer a few years earlier, she decided to give up the practice of law and do something she was passionate about, producing quality bitters and shrubs. Fast forward 5 years and 18.21 Bitters is now carried in 48 states and 6 countries.

60ml White Rum

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Fill with ice and shake. Double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with mint sprig.
 
Curious Cabinet

The Curious Cabinet was born out of frustration. Founder Pia Cook was pregnant and was sick of drinking soda water and missing out on festive cocktails! 

She discovered the intriguing world of Shrub syrups through an article, and decided to try making them herself. She was hooked. The traditional recipe combines the sweetness of fruit and sugar, and the tartness of apple cider vinegar. She found it irresistible.

60ml The Curious Cabinet Rhubarb Shrub
15ml Rhubi Rhubarb Nouvelle Mistelle
45ml Gin
5 drops Wonderfoam
Soda Water

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Dry shake without ice to build up foam. Fill with ice and shake. Pour 30ml soda water into a chilled Collins glass. Double strain cocktail into the glass. Slowly top with soda water. No Garnish needed.

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Fill with ice and shake. Double strain into a Nick & Nora Glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
