The flavour can be described as a combination of black pepper and allspice, with a beautifully perfumed and rich aroma. This is a tincture and does not add bitterness like a cocktail bitters would as there is no bittering ingredient used, thus the descriptor "cocktail spice". Use as a more complex substitute for black pepper or combine with complimentary flavours like cumin, fenugreek, garlic, horseradish, rosemary, or tarragon for a more complex and aromatic cocktail

Pairs well with rye, ginger beer, cola, citrus, rum, or bourbon.
